We do our best to make sure rug colors are represented as accurately as possible. The photos that we take of our rugs are color corrected to match the actual color of the rug as seen in person in natural daylight. Always consider that if the lighting conditions in your home are different than natural daylight, the colors will appear slightly differently than on the website.

Natural dyes are more expensive than synthetic dyes because of the time it takes to produce them. Apart from the dye itself, however, it’s really a matter of preference—both natural and synthetic dyes can be aesthetically pleasing.

General Tips

Rotate your rug regularly every 3-5 months to make sure that the rug wears and fades evenly. Use a (non slip) rug pad to extend the life of your rug or carpet, prevent sliding and to protect your floors. Have your rugs professionally cleaned every one to two years, depending on the level of use. Avoid placing your rug in direct sunlight as this may cause colour fading. Always refer to the manufacturers care label attached on the rug or carpet before cleaning your rug or carpet. Dry Cleaning is generally advised - professional cleaners have the necessary equipment, knowledge and skills. They can ensure your rug retains a new look because of the ability to restore it to pristine condition.
